The Farmer's Daughter is on sale and Old Man Winter strikes again
Hello!
I wanted to send a little note today to let you all know that the ebook copy of The Farmer’s Daughter is on sale for 99 cents until Friday, March 3. I also thought I would invite you for a cup of something warm to drink over on my blog, where I sit down for a chat on Saturday afternoons.
On Sundays, I chat about what I am reading on the blog so check it out this week if you want to know what I have been reading and plan to read, as well as what I am watching and listening to.
You can find The Farmer’s Daughter here on Amazon, by the way.
Today (Saturday) is the two-year anniversary of the book’s release!
It doesn’t seem like it’s been that long.
If you haven’t read the book here is a description:
Will the desire to change their lives bring two people together and will the Tanner family be able to save their family farm?
Molly Tanner thought she'd be further in life by now, but, no. At the age of 26, still living on her parent's dairy farm in rural Pennsylvania, wondering if there is a life for her somewhere other than little Spencer Valley. While wondering, though, her family faces financial struggles, her best friend falls into a deep depression, and her brother's best friend starts acting weird around her. Weird as in -- is attractive Alex Stone flirting with her?
Alex has his own challenges to face, mainly facing past demons that make him feel like he's not worthy of the love the Tanner family has already shown him, let alone the love of the woman he's fallen for while working side-by-side with her in the barn each day.
Weird winter weather
In addition to book news, we’ve also had some weird winter weather here in Pennsylvania. We are used to winter weather but this year it has been switching back and forth so fast my head has been spinning - almost literally since the rise and fall of the barometric pressure messes with my sinuses and ears.
We had some unexpected snow this morning, which my daughter decided she wanted to play in a little while, much to my disappointment. She was all suited up with her snowpants, warm gloves, and a warm coat but I hadn’t planned to be outside very long so I was shivering while she was having fun with the cat and dog.
Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus
On the blog this week, I shared a post about how much the song Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus has been meaningful to me lately. You can read that here, but you can also listen to the song today here:
How has your weekend been going and how was your week last week? I hope you’ve had some nicer weather than we have and I hope it continues to get even better.
