Six cozy mysteries I enjoyed and recommend
I have shared reviews of some of these books on my main blog in separate posts or on Instagram only but I decided to combine them all in one post for my supporters today. First, for those who don’t know what a cozy mystery is – it is a mystery that is usually void of graphic descriptions of the crime, violence, sex, or obscenity. There are lovable main and supporting characters and they usually take place in small towns and feature little tea or coffee shops, lots of references to either baked goods or cute animals and sometimes magic.
Their are usually light despite the murder that might happen.
Agatha Christie is considered the queen of cozy mystery even though her books sometimes featured darker subject matters than many of today’s cozy mysteries.
I’m listing five cozy mysteries I recently read and enjoyed in no particular order.
