Hey, everyone. I thought I’d start sending a weekly post where I share what I’ve been writing about on my main blog.
This will be a short post and I hope you don’t feel like I’m spamming you. I still plan to post only major and interesting updates as little as possible because I know we all get so much mail in our email accounts!
I will post more for paid subscribers, but less if you are a free subscriber.
Anyhow, here is a list of posts from my blog for the last couple of weeks:
Fiction Friday: My Gladwynn books are now on Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and Amazon
Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot May 16
An interview with Donna Stone, author of Joann
Top Ten Quotes by Agatha Christie
Book review/recommendation: Murder Always Barks Twice by Jennifer Hawkins
Saturday Afternoon Chat: A visit to the library and my parents get a surprise visit
Fiction Friday: Revisiting Gladwynn Grant Gets Her Footing – Chapter 1
Four YouTube Channels I watch to relax
In addition to sharing links to these posts, I thought I’d share a couple of books I’ve been reading lately for anyone who is interested:
In April I finished A Troubling Case of Murder on the Menu: An Emily Cherry Cozy Mystery Book by Donna Doyle and will have a review of it in Clean Fiction Magazine’s Summer 2024 edition. It was a cute, short, cozy mystery without much plot but a lot of heart.
If you haven’t heard of Clean Fiction Magazine, it is a magazine where you can learn about the clean and Christian fiction books available for you to read. There are reviews, stories, and art featuring clean fiction (both Christian and non-faith-based) inside the pages of the magazine, which you can read in either ebook or paperback form.
Over the last couple of months, I have read the following cozy mystery books, in addition to Donna’s book, including:
Murder Plainly Read by Isabella Alan (loved it)
Murder Always Barks Twice by Jennifer Hawkins (really enjoyed it)
Murder in An Irish Village by Carlene O’Connor (also enjoyed this)
The Cat Who Talked to Ghosts by Lilian Jackson Braun (one of my favorites of the series)
The Mystery at Lilac Inn by Carolyn Keene
and The Apple Cider Slaying by Julie Anne Lindsey
I also finished Operation Restoration by Kari Trumbo last week and there will be a review of that in Clean Fiction Magazine too.
I plan to finish The Mysterious Affair at Style by Agatha Christie today:
Now I would love to hear what you have been reading lately? Let me know in the comments!
