Insiders, you get the first look at the cover and description for Gladwynn Grant Shakes the Family Tree

A couple of weeks ago I was really struggling with the third book in the Gladwynn Grant Mystery series. I was feeling weepy, confused, lost, and also disappointed that things weren’t coming together as quickly as I would like. I was disappointed because I wanted this book out before the end of the year.

I thought I could do it. I thought I could pull it out. It turns out, I can’t. Not if I want it to be at least a bit readable. My husband calmed me down (handed me some chocolate) and reminded me that I could publish this book whenever I wanted to (since I’m an independent author) and suggested I take my time and put the book out later than I planned.

I could push it and get it done but then there is the time I need for my developmental editor (*cough* husband *cough*) to read it, for me to fix any plot holes, and also for me to read over it again and decide I hate it all and have to start over again.

All of this is why why Gladwynn is coming back in 2025 now, instead of 2024. I don’t have a firm release date just yet, but I’ll keep you updated.
